2. new Tour: Fireflies night Tour
If you’ve been to Puerto Princesa or Bohol, you may be thinking, “Ugh, one more firefly watching tour.” however it is different.
Calling it a Firefly watching tour is a disservice to the genuine stars of the night: the bioluminescent plankton. Sure, there were countless fireflies swirling around mangrove branches, however the shimmering plankton stole the show!
The evening began with a buffet dinner on a floating restaurant near the mangroves, after which we hopped onto a 3-person kayak. 3. New Trek: Mt. Darala
Det är inte riktigt nytt. Bergsklättrare har länge erövrat Mt. Darala, den högsta toppen på ön Busuanga, bit Det är bara under de senaste åren att det slutar vara framträdande bland avslappnade resenärer. Vi kunde inte klättra eftersom det regnade de allra första dagarna av vårt besök, men lokalbefolkningen uppgav att det finns två metoder för att nå sitt toppmöte: Mabentangen Path såväl som Balinsungan Trail, varvid den senare var svårare. 4. Nya kaféer: Fika -övergivenhet, kaffe Kong, samt La Morena Cafe
Vid min allra första se till Coron kanske jag inte hjälper till att jämföra det med El Nido, liksom jag tänker på att medan jag gillade mångfalden av attraktioner såväl som aktiviteter i Coron, kan exakt samma inte anges om dess matplats . El Nido har bara mycket mer utmärkta val i den avdelningen.
Den här gången tror jag dock att Coron tillhandahåller El Nido en körning för sina pengar. Det finns nya restauranger överallt, de flesta specialiserade på grillad kött och skaldjur. Men det jag verkligen upptäckte förtjusande var de nya kaféerna, som kan vara himmel-förtalade för digitala nomader som jag. Jag är inte säker på bara när dessa kaféer öppnade, men jag märkte dem säkert inte förut. Det finns det mysiga koreanska kaffe Kong som serverar sin signatur espresso, liksom som ligger på andra våningen i byggnaden tvärs över den är Fika njutningskafé, som på samma sätt serverar ett rikt val av måltider såväl som desserter. Inte lika långt ifrån dessa är La Morena Cafe som erbjuder en blandning av Pinoy samt västerländska rätter samt gigantiska portioner av fruktskakningar samt smoothies.

5. Ny metod för att komma till El Nido från Coron!
Slutligen en snabb, effektiv metod för att komma till El Nido från Coron. Jag har inte provat detta själv eftersom jag inte förstod att detta finns förrän jag redan var i Coron, men hade jag vetat, skulle jag ha organiserat för en längre vistelse och inkluderat El Nido i min resplan istället. Under den längsta tiden, för att komma till El Nido, skulle man kräva att motstå en 8-timmars trög båttur eller flyga till Puerto Princesa och sedan ta en 5-timmars bussresa.
Tack och lov introducerade Montenegro Fastcraft i september 2016 en ny Coron-El Nido (och vice versa) rutt, som sänker restiden till bara 4 timmar.
